New is now—EZ Suite 16 is finally here!

It has been over 2 years since the Ytria “revolution” began. EZ Suite 12, released on March 27, 2014 ushered in the powerful addition of XML-based automation across the entire EZ Suite. Now, with EZ Suite 16, the culmination of the past 2 years of research and development is set to change the game for IBM Notes developers and Domino administrators around the globe.

The list of new features is long, but the star of EZ Suite 16 is the integral flexYgrid—at once the rebuilt engine that turns Notes and Domino data processing into a familiar-yet-different experience, as well as the responsive new UI that leaves the old Ytria grid in the dust! All the options you’ve had in the past are still there, so you’ll still be able to approach your tasks in the same way. Just think of the flexYgrid as offering an additional layer of features, controls, and options—available for you, but not mandatory.

All of this comes with a huge increase in speed. Conservative estimates from those in the know have been throwing around the magic number “10” quite liberally when speaking about the factors of increased speed and capacity. And, although it takes time to arrive at official verdicts, the outlook is good that the ratings will echo that number quite soon!

The very mechanics that make the flexYgrid tick also make way for the potential of automation throughout most every nook and cranny of the entire EZ Suite. If you can do it once, it can be written into an automation script—a vast improvement over the interactions of previous versions. What’s more, automated operations now offer a seamless alternative to the batch/multi-database processing of past scanEZ and designPropEZ releases.

Powerful analysis tools such as an integrated pivot table builder, and a patent pending, Ytria-exclusive data comparator tool are built right into the flexYgrid’s architecture. Wherever there is a grid, you can access these functions. This is not a matter of context, nor a matter of data type—and what this means is that the flexYgrid allows you full control over reporting and analysis by being able to harness the contents of every data panel.
